The Scorpio group has bolstered its platform in tankers by hiring veteran chartering executive Lars Dencker Nielsen as its commercial director.
The former BP Shipping global chartering director will have a role not only in public tanker company Scorpio Tankers but also in the group’s private tanker pools, confirms Scorpio president Robert Bugbee in response to a query this week.
