A damaged shuttle tanker kept KNOT Offshore Partners in the red for the second quarter.
The New York-listed shipowner reported a bottom-line loss of $10.9m for the period, an improvement on the $21.7m loss a year earlier. Its results were kept in the red because of a $29.4m writedown taken on the 162,300-dwt Windsor Knutsen (built 2007).
The ship had reportedly been
