South Korea’s Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering has entered the gas sector after securing its first order for a small LPG carrier.
Busan-based Dae Sun debuted with a contract for a 3,500-cbm fully pressurised newbuilding from a domestic owner.
Shipbuilding players said South Korean refiner GS Caltex subsidiary Sangji Shipping has booked the lone vessel for delivery in the first quarter of 2021.
