Italy’s d’Amico International Shipping is close to finalising its fleet renewal after reportedly selling another veteran MR tanker.

European shipbrokers say the 47,000-dwt High Priority (built 2005) has fetched a firm $9m from undisclosed interests.

VesselsValue rated the tanker as worth $8.5m.

The Milan-listed shipowner acquired the ship for $29.2m in 2007.

The High Priority was then sold to Norwegian leaseback financier Sole Shipping in 2017 for $13m and chartered back.
