Stealth Maritime’s boss says an aframax tanker has been released after it was arrested in Singapore as part of a long-running dispute with Turkey's Geden Lines.

Babilis Lambros, chief executive of the Greek shipowner, says the registered owner of the 105,000-dwt tanker CS Stealth (built 2006) posted security as requested, but “under protest”.

“We have had legal trouble with Geden-Advantage Tankers for close to six years now,” he wrote in an email to TradeWinds, referring also to the tanker owner created to take over Geden's fleet as part of a restructuring.
