Under the deal with its sponsor Capital Maritime &Trading Corp, Evangelos Marinakis-led CPLP stretched the 36,721-dwt Alkiviadis andthe 36,760-dwt Agisilaos (both built 2006) for 12 months at $14,250 daily.
The figure is $750-835 per day higher than CPLP previously paidfor the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard-built duo, the New York-listed company said in anexchange filing.
Both charters include a 50/50 profit sharing arrangement fortrading outside the Institute Warranty Limits (IWL) such as trading under iceconditions.
