The stable period charter market for aframax tankers has seen Sovcomflot (SCF Group) subsidiary Novoship continue to extend front cover for its vessels.

TradeWinds has already reported that the 115,800-dwt NS Laguna and NS Lion (both built 2007) and NS Lotus (built 2008) were fixed to Phillips 66 for one year.

Now it appears that Gunvor subsidiary Clearlake Shipping has extended the charters for the 109,900-dwt NS Columbus (built 2007) and 110,100-dwt NS Captain (built 2006) for the same length of time, European brokers said.
