Chinese chemical tanker company Xingtong Shipping is expanding its fleet with an order of two tanker newbuildings worth close to $82m.
Shanghai-listed Xingtong Shipping has ordered a pair of 25,900-dwt stainless-steel chemical tankers from state-owned Wuchang Shipbuilding as part of the company’s fleet-expansion programme.
Xingtong said the tankers were ordered through its wholly owned subsidiaries of Xingtong Seal and Xingtong Sealion.
