In a statement the New York-quoted owner identified Kevin Mackay, who currently heads Phillips 66’s global marine business, as his replacement.
The operator said its new chief executive intends to move to Vancouver in the coming weeks and noted that the torch will be passed on 20 June.
A spokesman said the outgoing incumbent has no immediate plans of joining another company and intends to “relax”, at least in the near term.
