The Caspian Sea tanker trade is expected to grow in coming years as pipeline flows increase, according to Azerbaijan's Caspian Shipping Company (CSC).
Tariyel Mirzoyev, the company's head of strategic development and investment projects, told the Today website that the further development of the tanker fleet largely depends on the choice of route by carriers.
"Oil production in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan will grow in the next three to seven years," he said.
