BP Shipping has logged a bigger loss for 2021, in what were weak tanker markets before this year’s recovery.

According to accounts filed at Companies House in the UK, the company lost $160.2m last year, compared with a deficit of $90.16m in 2020, giving an accumulated loss of $1.4bn.

BP Shipping is one private slice of the larger group, handling shipping and ship management, and reflecting the operations of the UK-linked shipping activities.
