A BP company has won summary judgment against National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (NSCSA) over costs arising from delayed loading of a VLCC.
Although the deal required the charterer to pay for changes of berth at the loading or discharge ports London high court judge Justice Field ruled that NSCSA’s claims were time barred.
The dispute related to BP’s charter of the 303,000-dwt Abqaiq
