Shareholders have backed a name change for Navig8 Chemical Tankers following the departure of co-founder Navig8 Group.

The Denmark-based shipowner will rebrand and repaint its 32-vessel fleet under the name Chemical Tankers Inc.

A special meeting of shareholders on 20 August saw investors unanimously approve the change.
