Saudi-led coalition forces are preparing to launch an all-out attack to take control of the Houthi-held port of Hodeidah in Yemen.

The Guardian reported that the move could cut humanitarian lifelines and displace up to 200,000 people.

Coalition troops have made rapid advances along the coast in the battle against Houthi forces.

They are now eight miles from the port, which was captured by the Iran-backed rebels in 2015.
