Russia will begin exporting petrol again in January, but the impact on clean tankers will be muted, brokers believe.
The Putin administration banned the sale of fuel overseas in February this year for six months, to stabilise prices, later extending the measure to the end of the year.
Producers will be allowed to ship out petrol once more from 1 January, although traders and resellers will have to wait until the end of next month.
