Angelicoussis seals Altera Shuttle Tankers takeover as specialist fleet drops about $260m in value

Greek giant Angelicoussis Group has completed a deal to buy UK-based shipowner Altera Shuttle Tankers (AST) in a major move into the niche sector.

But the value of AST’s fleet has fallen by about $260m in the two months since the takeover was announced on 6 November, according to TradeWinds calculations based on VesselsValue figures of the 18 ships changing hands.
