Floating storage is starting to look good again, but it might not be enough to lift tankers out of the doldrums, Alphatanker said in its weekly note.
AXSMarine's research arm said on Thursday that producers of light, sweet crude are running into logistical bottlenecks that could lead to a price cut, making floating storage an option thanks to charter rates at multi-year lows and a deepening oil contango.
