AG Shipping & Energy founding director Mangish Kakodkar confirms the company has signed a deal to acquire an 11-year-old MR product tanker and expects to take delivery in mid-March.
While Kakodkar was unable to disclose the identity of the vessel or the seller due to confidentiality clauses in the contract, he told TradeWinds that the deal involves a 45,000-dwt ship constructed at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding.
