UK shipbroker Simpson Spence Young (SSY) has identified a shift in Australian tanker trading patterns that is providing an opportunity for LR2 ships.
Condensate production held stable at a strong 213,000 bpd between January and October last year, compared to 214,000 bpd in 2020, a record 12 months.
"This upward trend is expected to continue, with production expected to surpass 90m barrels, or 247,000 bpd in the next three to four years, considering output from the Dorado oil project," said SSY.
