Nigeria’s huge new Dangote refinery is making a big switch to domestic crude, which is likely to put a dent in Atlantic aframax demand.
The plant near Lagos will import 400,000 barrels per day (bpd) of Nigerian oil in October and November, Bloomberg reported.
The change from US barrels is coming as the refinery ramps up to its full capacity of 650,000 bpd.
