Cross-Mediterranean aframax rates have reached their lowest level since July and a Greek-owned tanker is unable to load due to security threats in Libya.

According to data from the Baltic Exchange, rates for aframax shipments across the Mediterranean declined 4% to WS 76.67.

The decline comes hot on the heels of a 30% reduction of Libyan oil production amid security threats and the cease of operations in the Zueitina terminal.
