Brazilian tanker owner Transpetro is poised to sign a deal worth $278m for four handysize product tankers in its first newbuilding move in a decade.
The Rio de Janeiro-based company said it had finalised the commercial negotiation phase with a consortium comprising Brazilian shipyards Ecovix and MacLaren.
