Denmark’s Uni-Tankers has announced a “major expansion” of its fleet in a series of sale-and-purchase and time charter deals.
The company, owned by family-run United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC), said it had bought the 6,100-dwt eco product carrier Sedat Basak (built 2022) for an undisclosed price.
The ship is controlled by Turkey’s Nakkas Denizcilik, which will retain one other ship, the 6,100-dwt clean carrier Teo Atk (built 2017).
