JP Morgan is believed to have snapped up a third capesize bulker in four months from SwissMarine.

TradeWinds reported in October that the Peter Weernink-led company was looking to sell the 193,000-dwt Chancy (built 2015).

Brokers report that JP Morgan has paid $43m for the vessel, in a deal that is said by some to include a time charter.

The price is in line with the $45m JP Morgan paid for the 182,000-dwt sisterships Cartigny and Chevrier (both built 2016) in September.
