The UK Government appears to have no sense of urgency to update its Maritime Decarbonisation Strategy, with its environmental committee saying this could put the nation’s leadership in cleaning up international shipping, at risk.
On Friday, the Environmental Audit Committee published the government’s response to its recommendations report, which was issued in May 2024 by its predecessor committee, prior to the general election.
