UK tanker and bulker owner Union Maritime is continuing to bet on wind propulsion for shipping through a new alliance.
The company said it has launched Project AeroPower, a collaborative initiative designed to ensure the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of wind technology.
The owner is working with “key stakeholders” including WindWings maker BAR Technologies and vessel managers Synergy Marine, Anglo-Eastern and Atlantas Ship Management.
