Mitsui OSK Lines has completed the first step of a visionary project that uses sailing ships to produce clean energy for use on land.
Technology on board the Japanese shipowners’ demonstration yacht, the Winz Maru, used wind energy to produce green hydrogen, which it delivered to Tokyo Bay for power projects on land, MOL chief executive Takeshi Hashimoto said on Friday.
