The biggest problem I see in shipping right now is the dark fleet. As an industry, we have struggled to tackle this challenge. The dark fleet is completely ungoverned, posing huge risks for the safety and well-being of our seafarers, as well as environmental risks.
To solve this, I would initially set up an International Maritime Organization workforce to somehow see how we can safeguard environmental and safety concerns.
