Bengal Tiger Line chief executive Bill Smart is sailing off into retirement at the end of March.
The fun-loving Scotsman, avid golfer and boater, has spent the past 35 years helming the Singapore-based feeder container operator.
Under his command, the company has grown from its origin routes in the Bay of Bengal to the Asia and Middle East markets and today has a presence as far afield as the east coast of South America.
