Songa Bulk of Norway has distanced itself from talk of a second capesize purchase in quick succession at the same time has hiring a new chief financial officer.
Brokers have been linking Songa with the 179,000-dwt bulker Giant Ace (built 2009), just a few days after it entered the capesize arena.
It is suggested the Oslo-based company has paid Korea’s KCH Shipping $28.3m
