China's Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has clinched 28 ship orders worth $1.2bn so far in 2018, lifting its total orderbook to $4.1bn.

The company said the backlog of 114 vessels will keep it "optimally utilised" up to 2020 and provide a stable revenue stream for at least two and a half years.
