Global shipbuilding leaders have held the first physical Japan, Europe, South Korea and US shipbuilding enterprises summit since 2019.
The JEKU gathering used to be an annual event before the Covid-19 pandemic led to a three-year suspension.
The 2023 summit was held in Yantai Shandong prefecture, with China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry chairman Guo Dacheng acting as host.
