Dutch offshore and dredging group Van Oord has moved to strengthen its position in the offshore wind sector with a new green ship order.
The owner has picked Vard in Norway to build a 10,000-gt cable-layer for delivery in 2023. No price has been given.
Van Oord is a leader in laying and burying power lines for turbines.
