Crisis-hit Uljanik Group has had its bank account freed from restrictions so that it can pay August salaries to workers.
"We would like to inform the investment public that Uljanik's account has been unblocked," the Croatian shipbuilder told the Zagreb stock exchange.
The news coincided with a visit from prime minister Andrej Plenkovic, who held talks with management board members, unions and workers.
