Just a few months after taking delivery of a lone ultramax newbuilding from Cosco in China, Turkish shipowner Akmar Shipping returned to the same yard to sign yet another unit.
With the deal, the Necdet Aksoy-led Akmar cements its role as one of the very few Turkish companies to order dry bulk tonnage, arguably even the only one this year.
