Thenamaris is understood to have increased its exposure to the gas carrier market by ordering two more LPG carriers at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD), brokers and shipping databases report.
The Dinos Martinos-controlled company is listed with a 38,000-cbm pair said to have been booked last week at a price of about $49m each. VesselsValue and IHS Markit are already identifying them as Hull Nos 8280 and 8281 at the South Korean yard, which are due for delivery in 2021.
