Sinokor Merchant Marine has made another splash in the shipbuilding market with up to an estimated $288m in fresh tanker and bulker orders.
Industry sources said the South Korean shipowner has signed up for a pair of 115,000-dwt crude tankers at compatriot shipyard Daehan Shipbuilding for delivery during the first half of 2020. The deal includes options for two additional vessels.
