South Korea’s DSME is said to be offering early-delivery VLCC berths for future orders.
Shipbuilding players said the Okpo-based shipbuilder is seeking a price above $90m for each of the 300,000-dwt crude carriers.
“[DSME] has a few slots for the second and third quarter of 2021,” said one shipbuilding source. “The yard is looking to sell them at between $92m and $93m without scrubbers.
