Germany’s Reederei H Vogemann has switched shipyards to complete a $190m handysize bulker newbuilding order.
The 134-year-old company has commissioned Yangzijiang Shipbuilding in China to construct up to eight 40,000-dwt bulkers.
The deal comprises two firm ships with three pairs of options.
The move comes six months after the Hamburg-based owner was linked to a similar order at China’s Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding.
