Former STX shipyard Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) wants to be a major player in the ferry market.
The reborn yard is building a passengership for Denmark's Mols-Linien currently, but says there is a lot of activity over other potential contracts.
Executive vice president of sales and marketing Hakan Enlund told the Passenger Ship Technology website: “To restart a yard was tougher than we thought, but we are on the way there and the Mols-Linien order is an important milestone."
