Gas shipowner and trader Petredec has exercised an option at Jiangnan Shipyard in China to order another three LPG-fuelled VLGC newbuildings worth around $460m in total.
The move follows a deal for an earlier trio of a pioneering size of LPG carrier signed last year.
The company's Petredec Holdings (Eastern) unit said the three 93,000-cbm dual-fuel LPG carriers are expected to deliver in June, August and September 2023.
