Singapore-headquartered shipyard group PaxOcean is planning to target repair work on bigger ships after purchasing a 300-metre long floating dry-dock in South Korea.
The dry-dock, which is capable of handling a capesize bulk carrier, will first be refurbished at PaxOcean’s Zhoushan shipyard facility before being stationed permanently at its Pertama yard on the Indonesian island of Batam, just across from Singapore.
