Ocean Agencies has returned to New Dayang Shipbuilding with an order for bulker newbuildings.
The London-based bulker owner has signed up for two 63,000-dwt vessels scheduled for delivery in 2021. The deal with the yard — formerly known as Yangzhou Dayang Shipyard — includes options for another two vessels.
An executive at New Dayang confirmed the bulkers order, adding that the newbuildings are an upgrade of the yard’s established Crown 63 design.
