Spain’s state-owned yard grouping, Navantia, will buy troubled Northern Irish shipbuilder Harland & Wolff after a commercial deal was agreed.
The Spanish yard will acquire the Belfast-based yard, famous for its construction of the ill-fated liner Titanic, its Arnish and Methil yards in Scotland plus its site in Appledore, Devon, in the UK’s south-west.
