Big-name bidders are circling India's restructuring shipbuilder Reliance Naval & Engineering (RNEL).
Bloomberg reported that Jindal Steel & Power — India’s third-largest steel producer by market value — has confirmed its interest in the plant.
The group sees RNEL as an in-house shipbuilding customer for its steel plates, according to Jindal managing director Vidya Rattan Sharma.
