Newbuilding activity in 2022 is set to be dominated by alternative-fuel ships, judging by the latest figures from Clarksons.
In its “Shipyard Monitor” report, the shipbroker said, on a dwt basis, more than 80% of the newbuildings contracted in January are designed to burn alternative fuels.
