South Korea's major shipyards have retained their number one ranking in terms of global orderbooks.
DSME had 88 ships of 6.26m cgt contracted at the end of May, Clarksons data showed, while Hyundai Heavy Industries had 65 of 3.33m cgt.
Its subsidiaries Samho and Mipo had 45 vessels of 1.73m cgt and 74 of 1.57m cgt respectively.
