Norwegian Car Carriers (NOCC) has added a third LNG-fuelled ship to its orderbook at CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering.
Olave Sollie, chief executive of the Oslo-headquartered shipowner, revealed the deal in a LinkedIn post.
The Chinese shipyard will build a 7,000-ceu dual-fuel pure car/truck carrier.
“NOCC is ramping up its green fleet for the future,” Sollie wrote, noting that it is a “fun start of summer☀️”.
