Shipyards in South Korea and China are receiving an increasing number of newbuilding enquires for neo-panamax containerships.
Newbuilding sources name boxship tonnage suppliers such as Costamare and Capital Product Partners among the companies showing interest.
US-listed Costamare is said to be making early-day rounds at yards for up to six 15,000-teu vessels.
