Korean yard group Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has shaken up its top management structure with new appointments.

Han Young-seuk and Ka Sam-hyun have been named as co-presidents to replace president and CEO Kang Hwan-goo, who is staying on as an advisor.

Han was previously CEO of group company Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, while Ka was head of HHI's shipbuilding division.

The company said the promotions were effective immediately.
